Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ark Horizon LLC ("Qissa", "we", "us") governing your use of the Qissa: Bedtime Story Maker app and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who May Use Qissa
Qissa is intended for use by adults (parents and guardians). You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. The age ranges in the app describe the child a story is created about — children do not create accounts or use the app directly.
Accounts
You can use many features of Qissa without an account. Creating an account is optional and lets your subscription and credits sync across devices. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete account) or by contacting us at hello@qissa-stories.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your account record and associated server-side data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions (Qissa Plus)
Qissa offers an auto-renewable subscription, Qissa Plus, available as a monthly or yearly plan. The subscription title, length, and price (including any introductory or promotional pricing) are shown in the app's purchase screen before you buy and are confirmed at the point of purchase.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Introductory offers. Any free trial or introductory price applies only to the stated introductory period; the standard recurring price applies thereafter. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
One-Time Purchases
Qissa may offer one-time, non-subscription credit packs (for example, additional stories or narrations). These are consumable purchases charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation. Except where required by law or store policy, purchases are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
AI-Generated Content
Stories, illustrations, and narration are created using artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. Because content is generated automatically, we do not guarantee that any story, character, theme, illustration, or other element will be unique, accurate, or error-free, and similar content may be generated for other users.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use content you generate for your own personal and family use. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit generated content without our prior written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it through unauthorized means, interfering with its operation, reverse-engineering it, or using it to create unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ark Horizon LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Ark Horizon LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
